DoorDash’s Financial Empowerment Programming

DoorDash is expanding its financial empowerment programming through a new partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC). This collaboration will support immigrant and refugee communities across the country.

The IRC is the world’s leading organization for refugees and one of DoorDash’s key partners in this effort. The Areas of Focus for This Financial Empowerment Program

The DoorDash and IRC partnership will focus on four key areas to help immigrants and refugees become financially empowered:

1. Financial literacy and education: This will include basic money management skills, such as budgeting, saving, and understanding credit scores and reports.

2. Employment readiness and opportunities: Participants will learn how to create resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, as well as how to interview for jobs.

3. Entrepreneurship education and support: This will equip participants with the tools they need to start their own businesses, including training in business planning, financial management, and market research.

4. Access to technology: This will provide participants with access to computers and the internet, as well as digital literacy training so they can use technology safely and effectively for their financial goals.
